Terms of the Competition
The requirements for the INNOTVET2020 are as follows :
Participants are required to register according to their suitable categories.
Project innovations must be in accordance with the theme of the competition.
The idea of the project must be self-generated ideas and not plagiarism.
Material needs to develop the project or preparation before the competition is the responsibility of the participant.
The use of wasted or recyclable materials in project production is strongly encouraged.
Improvements in existing ideas or products can be adopted as long as the aspect of improvement is a major factor of creativity.
Innovative ideas must be original and never commercialized, displayed or presented to the manufacturing sector.
Any entries found to be plagiarized is WIIL BE DISQUALIFIED in this competition. The Secretariat ENTITLED to withdraws any form of prizes acquired.
The decision of the judging panel is FINAL.
Terms of Participation
The terms of participation for the INNOTVET2020 are as follows :

The competition is open to Students, Academician & Researchers.

Innovation Competition is open to individual or group participation. However, group participation is limited to a maximum of FOUR (4) members per group. Group participation can consists of a combination of lecturers, staffs and students.

Project development costs are at the expense of individual, group or organization.
Guidelines of Online Competition
1) Participants must send innovation project/product videos to the secretariat latest by 15th September 2020 for judging purpose by the juries.

Maximum video duration is 10 minutes.

Participants are encouraged to include INNOTVET2020 logo in their videos. The logo can be downloaded from competition website (https://innotvet.wixsite.com/menu) or from e-mail attachment sent by the secretariat.

The video should be uploaded online in any platform preferred by participants e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox etc. The video link should be sent through e-mail to the secretariat at innotvet@gmail.com with subject “Video projek (Name of group leader). Participants should ensure that access to the video has been authorized to the secretariat (email : innotvet@gmail.com).

Video judging sessions will be executed offline by the juries.
2) One Q&A session between the juries and participants will be executed online on 30th September 2020 (Wednesday). The session will be executed using Google Meet application. Session schedule for each group will be notified earlier. The session will last between 5-15 minutes.
3) Apart from video, each group must also send:
a) a poster in pdf format to be uploaded in competition website, and
b) extended abstract to be included in competition proceedings. The abstract should consist of introduction, methodology, findings and conclusion or findings impact.
Deadline for poster and abstract submission is 15th September 2020.
4) Winners will be announced online on 1st October 2020 through livestream at INNOTVET2020 official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/innotvet/). Participants are encouraged to like INNOTVET2020 official Facebook page to get updated information from time to time.
5) Juries decisions are final.
6) Award certificates, prizes and competition proceedings will be sent by courier to institution address of participants after the competition.
Award Categories
The INNOTVET2020 prize will be awarded under THREE (3) participation categories. Winner in each category will receive a cash prize MYR350, plaque and certificate of appreciation. One group will be chosen as the Best of the Best winner, which will receive the grand prize of MYR1000.
